About Jerry Jacka: Born and raised on a ranch north of Phoenix, Arizona Jerry Jacka has had a lifelong fascination with the Southwest and has devoted more than fifty years to photographing the land and its people. He is noted for his sensitive portrayal of Native Americans and striking photographs of American Indian art. Jerry is one of the most widely published photographers in the Southwestern United States and has had five issues of Arizona Highways Magazine devoted entirely to his work.
